Ghana ilitoka nyuma ikiwa kwenye hatari ya kuaga michuano na kutumia dakika 17 za mwisho kuilaza Afrika Kusini 2-1 na kutinga robo fainali ya Kombe la Mataifa ya Afrika (Afcon).
Katika mchezo huo uliopigwa Jumanne, mabingwa hao wa mara nne, wakaonyeshwa mlango wa kuagia mashindano baada ya mkwaju mkali wa Mandla Masango kuipatia bao Afrika Kusini kunako dakika ya 17.
Lakini Ghana wakafanikiwa kugeuza matokeo katika kipindi cha pili cha mtanange huo uliochezwa kwenye dimba la Mongomo Stadium.
Mchezaji aliyetokea benchi John Boye akafunga kwa shuti la karibu dakika ya 73 kabla ya Andre Ayew hajafunga bao la ushindi dakika 10 kabla ya mchezo kumalizika.
Kwa matokeo hayo Ghana iliyokuwa kwenye hati hati ya kuaga mashindano, inavuka kama kinara wa kundi C.
